Privacy policy
CascadePeek keeps page inspection local.
CascadePeek runs in the active browser tab after the user starts it. Page inspection happens locally. The extension contacts CascadePeek servers only for checkout, license activation, and license validation.
Permissions
- `activeTab` lets the extension inspect only the tab where the user clicked the toolbar button.
- `scripting` injects the local inspector script and styles into that active tab.
- `storage` stores the user's license key and license instance ID locally.
Page content
The inspector reads DOM structure and CSS from the current page only to show and copy styles inside the browser. Page content is not transmitted to the developer.
Payments and licenses
Paid checkout is processed by Creem. License activation sends the license key and an extension-generated instance name to CascadePeek's server endpoint, which forwards it to Creem for validation. CascadePeek does not receive credit card details.
Data use
- CascadePeek does not sell user data.
- CascadePeek does not use or transfer user data for advertising, credit, or unrelated purposes.
- CascadePeek uses license data only to provide and validate Pro access.
- CascadePeek's use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the extension removes local extension storage from Chrome. For support records related to purchases or license issues, email testiebi90@gmail.com from the purchase email.
